The Senior Phone app is intended to be a no frills, simple dial and talk or video chat communications tool for the elderly for smartphones and tablets. Many seniors find the new age technology too complicated and want to have simple dial a number and talk. With just a few steps, Senior phone allows the user to do that along with the added feature to visually Video chat with someone. The keypad has large buttons for easy dialing and by utilizing the CONTACTS list feature, the senior can dial by simply pressing on a picture of the person they want to call. Dial and talk utilize an existing phone plan. Video requires data plan or Wi Fi. There is an initial one time account setup which may require assistance for the senior unfamiliar with devices but once established no other setup is required but is editable if desired. The app utilizes the devices operating systems existing CONTACTS list. So user needs to be able to setup a contacts list on the device being used.
